School of Occupational Safety and Fire Sciences
The School of Occupational Safety & Fire Sciences develops protective service programs that prepare students to offer services to the public by minimizing the effects of unforeseen disasters and emergencies and criminal activity. Students can learn how to ensure the safety and protection of individuals, their society and the wider world. It involves the study of the behavior, compartmentalization, suppression and investigation of fire and its related emergencies, as well as the research and development, production, testing and application of mitigating systems. Our faculty is highly trained and experienced in the area of occupational safety and fire sciences and is thus able to educate students through teaching practices that are validated and applicative in the real world environment.
